Refer & Earn Policy

1. Who can refer

Refer & Earn is a closed program. Only existing MYP students, clients, candidates and alumni aged 18 or over, recorded as members in MYP's database and approved by MYP, can refer. Strangers, unknown users and newly registered users without an existing MYP relationship can't refer, and there is no public registration.

It costs nothing to take part. You can leave at any time by emailing us. MYP can approve, decline or suspend participation.

2. Who can be referred

The person referred must be 18 or over and genuinely new to MYP, and must give their own details and consent through the referral link. You can't refer yourself. MYP decides eligibility. The member who referred you can see your first name and the status of your referral, including if it isn't eligible.

If someone gave your details without your permission, tell us and we'll remove them.

3. How we check referrals

The friend first confirms their email with a one-time code. Our server then checks their email and mobile number against MYP's records, and a referral isn't eligible if it matches any of these:

• The member who shared the link.
• Existing members, including students, clients, candidates and alumni.
• Existing MYP accounts.
• Leads, consultation requests and training enquiries.
• Verified brochure requests, checked by email.
• Earlier referrals. Only the first valid referral of a person counts, whichever member made it.

4. The reward

• On each amount the referred friend pays for their first enrolment, including GST, the referring member gets 5% and the friend gets 5%. For example, a ₹10,000 payment gives each of them ₹500 before any tax deducted under section 6.
• It's the same whether the friend pays in parts or in full. A later purchase by the friend earns no reward.
• A reward is earned only after the payment is received and the refund period is over. For a training course, that's after the 7 calendar days following the first class. For Pay After Placement, it's after MYP receives the placement fee. For a package, it's after the refund period in the written agreement.
• MYP approves each reward, then pays it by UPI or bank transfer. The friend's reward is paid in the same way and isn't taken off their fee. We aim to pay within 30 days of approving a reward, once we have your payment details.
• Rewards are one level only. They're earned only on payments by a friend who used your own link, not for recruiting members or for anyone your friend refers.

5. Refunds

If a fee is refunded before a reward is paid, that reward isn't paid. If a fee is refunded after rewards were paid, the member and the friend each return their share of the reward on the refunded amount, within 30 days of our written request, or it's taken off any later reward.

We can take the friend's own share off their refund, and we'll show this clearly. A friend's refund isn't held up because of the member's share.

6. Tax

Rewards may be subject to tax. MYP may ask for your PAN before paying, deducts any tax the law requires and tells you the amount deducted. You're responsible for your own tax on what you receive.

7. Fair use

Please share your link only with people who would welcome it. Whenever you recommend MYP, tell the person you may earn a reward, and share only your own honest opinion. Don't send spam, present yourself as MYP or make promises on MYP's behalf, including about jobs, salaries or results. Rewards can be refused for false details or misuse of the program. A referral doesn't guarantee a reward, a job, an interview or any other result.

8. Changes to the program

We can change or end the program by updating this page. We'll give at least 15 days' notice on this page before a change that reduces rewards or ends the program, and payments received before the change stay under the earlier rules.

9. Your personal data

We use your details to run this program as described in our Privacy Policy, which says how long we keep them and how to ask us to correct or erase them. We keep tax and payment records for as long as the law requires.

10. Law and complaints

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, including where you can file a consumer complaint, the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have jurisdiction.
